Overlooking the beautiful vista of Lake Wanaka and blessed with good natural snowfalls, Treble Cone has great terrain for all levels of ability. The mountain has a huge rideable area of over 530 hectares and a vertical drop of 600 metres.
The skifield encompasses a purpose built learner area, comfortable green and blue runs, through to challenging black runs and powder stashes. The Main Basin area of the mountain is accessed by a high speed six seater chairlift and contains plenty of groomed runs with two long, winding trails - Triple Treat and Main Street.
The Saddle Basin area of the mountain scores high in the freeriding category with plenty of advanced terrain, off-piste runs and natural halfpipes. The installation of a new quad chairlift in 2005 increased their longest run to 7 kilometres, and opened up a whole new area for intermediates as well as the awesome Mototapu chutes.
