Porter Heights is located at the southern end of the Craigieburn Mountain Range and rises to nearly 2000 metres. The ski area has good natural snow, regular snowmaking and extensive grooming, ensuring perfect terrain for all levels of snowboarders.
There are gentle slopes for beginners on the bottom tows and T-Bar 1. Intermediates can enjoy wide open areas for carving and cruising runs from top to bottom. Advanced riders have the long, wide faces of Big Mama, Bluff Face and Headwall to rip down. Big Mama with 620 vertical metres is the longest straight run down in the Southern Hemisphere.
Porter Heights has heaps of hits and jumps off their cat-tracks and a terrain park with tables and rails on T-Bar 1. The lookout from the top of T-Bar 3 offers spectacular views of the Southern Alps with Lake Coleridge sparkling below.
