Mount Cheeseman is situated on the middle section of the Craigieburn Range in a sunny east to south-east facing basin. Set in a wide, open bowl with rolling terrain, Mount Cheeseman is perfect for beginner and intermediate riders.
Two t-bars give easy access to a vertical drop of 300 metres. Learners have their own rope tow located right beside the main lodge. The well groomed runs on either side of the Main Tow are perfect for beginners and intermediates to explore and progress on. For advanced riders the Ridge Tow allows access to great off-piste conditions on Mount Cockayne, A-Basin and Sunny Face.
The Ridge Tow also gives easy access to the backcountry area of Tarn Basin, where there are plenty of options to score some fresh lines. Mount Cheeseman have a small terrain park with jumps and rails and there is a natural halfpipe in the Gunbarrel.
